Swalwell Local History Society meets at 7.30pm on the last Thursday of each month in Swalwell Club. You don't have to be a member to attend and for 50p or so can listen to some fascinating presentations given by guest speakers. Visitors are made most welcome so why not go along. |

| The Society also produced the brochure shown below which was freely distributed to local households and libraries including Whickham and Gateshead libraries. It is very difficult to find now but may still be available to view at the libraries. | |||
